Blog: ‘Live Your Dream’ FREE right now

For 2 DAYS ONLY my new book ‘Live Your Dream: How to Cut the Crap and Prioritize Your Purpose‘ is available to download for FREE!

Here’s a little taste:

“Living a life of purpose is something we all want. To find the thing that switches us on and then to follow it wholeheartedly until we know we can say we ‘lived our destiny’ – we did the thing we were created for.

But, it’s safe to say life is full. There’s a lot that can pull you away from your purpose.

Having focused passion burning in you is one thing, but keeping your ‘eyes on the prize’ and maintaining steadiness in your approach can be hard. In all the distractions, commitments, and ‘voices’ that rush at us in our modern world filtering out the fluff and staying on goal takes effort and real diligence. You have to make the choice to create your world rather than get lost in it.

As a full-time radio host, graduate student, and managing editor of my own online magazine, The Connect Press, separating the silliness from the worthwhile has had to become a priority.

When I wake up in the morning there’s already one hundred and fifteen things swirling around in my brain telling me what to do for the day. Before I’ve looked at my phone, hit the alarm, and heard the birds sing, my brain’s like, “don’t forget this or that, or what about this, and did you ask them THAT?” It’s like my thoughts collected overnight and have been waiting for me to wake up so they could blurt them out. And then don’t even get me started on what happens when I stay in bed and read my emails. It’s too much. I should know better. I need to let my feet hit the foor before I run ahead of myself. But that’s just how I am.

Beneath the layers of energy are dreams I have and, much like you, things I want to see accomplished in my lifetime. I don’t just want to imagine what’s possible, but see it come about. To not be a person who ‘could’ and never did. I want to be a ‘goal-getter’ who lives an intentional life.

For you and I to do this though, we have to be clear about the foundations we build our life on and the things we allow to have our attention and energy.

This book is about helping you build that foundation. It’s not about being ‘too busy for people’ or stand-offish in your accomplishments, but putting things in place that will help you set your priorities and achieve them.

In this book, you will learn practical, fundamental approaches to life that help you cut the crap and make time for what switches you on – including giving time to family and friends. I will take you into 5 different areas of life that make or break the intentional purpose-driven person and share personal stories that will give you practical insight to help stay the course of your dreams.

Whatever phase of life you’re in, whether stirring vision for your future, leaving school, or stepping into university – you can start applying these now and continue to refer to them as you make adjustments along the way.

I promise once you’ve finished reading this book, you’ll have greater clarity on your purpose. You’ll understand the simple resources you need to close the gaps between dreaming, achieving, and walking into your destiny. You’ll be able to pre-empt and avoid roadblocks and hurdles as well as find a way through the unavoidable ones with focus.

So, stop waiting to live your dreams. Cut the crap and let’s prioritize your purpose.”

Coronavirus: The Power of Being One this Easter

For the first time in many of our lifetimes, the coronavirus pandemic has made us one. This Easter, maybe that’s more significant than we realise.

Blog: What Seeing Jesus’ Tomb Taught Me About His Resurrection

This Easter, after 18 days in Israel and Jordan I’m reminded that Jesus didn’t come to be a famous icon, but to be our Saviour.
