Why You Won’t Always See New Stuff on This Site

Hello. Thanks for visiting The Connect Press. I’m Laura, our founder and editor. Depending how you came to find our site, and how long you’ve been on the journey, you may or may not have noticed that the posts have become less frequent.

That’s not because I’ve stopped loving writing or storytelling, or because I don’t think there are different ways of looking at the world to share with you anymore. It’s because I’m happily telling more stories in my journalistic and radio-host role at Hope 103.2 in Sydney, Australia, and through the podcast I host there called UNDISTRACTED. Please, I’d love you to join me me for both.

Consumed as I may be by those roles though, sometimes The Connect Press is still the right place for me to share my mind-wanderings with you and have conversations of another kind. When those moments pop up, I’ll be right here, and, I’ll invite you to come along too.

Thanks for joining me on the journey.

Coronavirus: The Power of Being One this Easter

For the first time in many of our lifetimes, the coronavirus pandemic has made us one. This Easter, maybe that’s more significant than we realise.
