On the Anniversary of any historical event there is always cause for a moment of pause.

Today as we acknowledge one of humanities most defining events, Reuters have given us opportunity use that time celebrating the survivors of the Auschwitz concentration camp, appreciating the people affected the tragically evil events of World War II.

Estimated to have killed 1.1 million people, 200,000 Auschwitz inmates were freed in 1945, with about 300 are alive today.
